Engr. Chibuike Collins Nwonye is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ecorays Energy Nigeria Limited, where he leads innovative solutions in energy systems and advanced engineering technologies. He is widely recognized for his expertise in circuit design, systems engineering, and renewable energy innovation. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and a Master's degree in Communication Engineering, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science, reflecting a strong commitment to interdisciplinary research, technological advancement, and sustainable engineering solutions.
With extensive experience spanning both academia and industry across multiple countries, Engr. Nwonye has built a strong reputation as a forward-thinking researcher and engineer. His contributions to engineering and scientific innovation have earned him six international scholarship awards and one national scholarship award. He is also an accomplished inventor credited with developing a novel temperature control method aimed at improving engineering system efficiency and reliability, with ongoing contributions to advancements in intelligent systems and energy technologies.
He currently serves as the team leader in the design and development of the LUMI-22 system at the University of São Paulo — an advanced analytical platform designed for the examination of lunar and Martian samples under a NASA-sponsored project. Engr. Nwonye is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and his professional work continues to bridge innovation, sustainability, and engineering excellence across Africa and beyond.

Engr. Obidimma Ikeh serves as the Co-Founder and Director of Process Development at Ecorays Energy Limited, where he provides executive leadership for process engineering, operations, technology development, and renewable energy innovation. He oversees solar deployment initiatives, smart inverter integration, and the development of scalable renewable energy systems tailored to local and industrial needs. His expertise spans metallurgical systems, advanced manufacturing, energy materials, and intelligent power solutions.
Engr. Ikeh began his engineering career at Macrev Engineering Services in 2014, advancing through quality engineering roles before serving as Senior Materials Inspector at McCXEN Limited. He holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree with distinction from the University of Benin and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with Second Class Upper Division from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). He is currently finalizing his Ph.D. dissertation, further strengthening his research contributions in materials and energy engineering.
Engr. Ikeh is a licensed engineer certified by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) since 2019, a Fellow of the National Institution of Professional Engineers and Scientists (FNIPES), and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC). He is also an active member of ASM International, The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS), Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), and the American Welding Society (AWS).
